The HSE has announced it is to launch a new strategy in December. Among its goals, it hopes to drive a further reduction in workplace accident rates which have recently plateaued. While the HSE is yet to define how it is going to deliver this new strategy HSE Chair Judith Hackitt has argued an increase in inspectors is not necessary. Do you agree?
