Exhaust fume problems?
November 1st 2009

Vehicle exhaust emissions include over 40 different substances that are listed as hazardous air pollutants.

15 of these are listed as carcinogenic to humans.

Exhaust emissions can appear as black, grey or even be invisible to the human eye. New generation engines produce 15 to 35 times smaller particles than older engines due to improved fuel burning and exhaust re-circulation. EHC Teknik has developed a range of exhaust filters that fit directly to the vehicle tailpipe. These filters work as soon as the vehicle engine is started and require no preheating or outside power supply. The filters remove 99.92% of all particles down to 0.12 microns. By trapping the particles the filter captures the polyaromic hydrocarbons and polycyclic organic materials that are harmful to health.
