FIT-AND-FORGET RANGE OF FILTERS
August 1st 2004

A filter that offers an efficiency of 99.99% has been introduced by Air Cleaning Systems (acs) to its range of fit-and-forget units for the control of oil emulsion mist.

Designed primarily for the machining industry, the OMF has air handling capacity of 1000m3/h and is intended as a stand alone unit to service one or two extract positions. Its aim is to control at-source oil/emulsion mist from machining operations.

It is also suitable for the removal of overspray from mould spraying, strip coating and so on.

The filter offers two inlet positions for ease of installation. An energy saving backward curved fan offers a total added state pressure of 500pa to ensure rapid removal of pollution from machine enclosure or canopy.
