FIVE STEPS LEAD TO VERY PURE AIR
October 1st 2005

ultrafilter believes that, with its ultrapure range of breathing air products, it has a processing system for all pressure flows when compressed air has to be transformed into extremely pure breathing air.

The five-stage ultrapure process ensures that all pollution is removed from the compressed air. Initially, a pre-filter detains oil and water aerosols as well as solid particles down to 0.01m.

The resultant condensate is drained from the compressed air line by means of an electronic condensate drain, ensuring there is no loss of expensive compressed air.

During the second phase, an adsorption dryer removes moisture and reduces carbon dioxide to less than 500 ppm.

In the third phase, an activated carbon absorber eliminates oil vapour and odours. A catalytic converter transforms carbon monoxide into carbon dioxide, while the CO content is reduced to below 5 ppm. Finally, a filter cleanses the air of particles >1m.
