Hood provides emergency
forces undertaking high risk
operations complete head
and neck protection when
combined with Avon's 50
series of masks or
FM12 and S10
respirators.
Although not
designed for CBRN
protection, this highly durable hood
is manufactured from Nomex and
Kevlar to offer excellent thermal
flash resistance as well as cut and
puncture resistance.
It is reported to provide task
forces entering a potential danger
zone complete physical
protection to the exposed head,
neck and ears against material
threats such as glass
and flash fragments
that could be
encountered during a
