LEV log books
May 1st 2010

Following publication of HSG258 'Controlling airborne contaminants at work: A guide to Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)' in 2008, focus has been placed on owners of LEV systems to maintain a log book and user manual for each system with daily, weekly and monthly checks.

To assist with this, Sypol has designed Log Books to allow accurate recording of LEV checks, together with comments on any corrective action required. A section for regular maintenance and unplanned repair work is also included. The records can be used as evidence that HSE guidelines are being followed.
