No fumes November 1st 2009 Elettric 80's LGV (Laser Guided
Vehicles) systems are battery
powered meaning they don't give
off any exhaust fumes.
The LGVs are also equipped with
advanced safety technology such as
PLS (Proximity Laser Scanning)
which will cause the truck to slow
down (and if necessary stop) until
any obstacle in its way is removed.
This strongly reduces the risk of
accidents.
In addition, sensors in the LGVs'
forks and around the trucks will
control the exact position when
cargo is unloaded or picked up,
minimising the risk of goods falling
and other handling incidents.
The Freeway System is also said
to secure an even material flow and
allows the client to flatten out peaks
that cause stress and increased risk
of accidents. More articles from Elettric 80 AB: |
