SCBA for industry
April 1st 2008

MSA's SCBA system has been designed for industrial use.

It can be fully customised; using an interactive process, users choose from a selection of backplates, harnesses, pneumatic systems and monitoring components. More than 4000 configurations are possible, all approved to EN137:2006.

The company also offers three presets, covering common applications for those who do not want to configure their own system.

AirGo pro offers flexibility and reliability. Weight is distributed close to the body to reduce stress and fatigue.

alphaSingleLine pneumatics integrate warning signal, second connection and gauge in an easily accessible chest manifold. Electronic, telemetric monitoring and communication capability are optional.

For emergency response and escape, the AirGo compact is said to offer a high level of protection in the budget range. Pneumatic and carrier components are identical to the high end preset, making AirGo compact suitable for tough applications.

AirMaXX offers a high level of comfort for frequent use; an ergonomic backplate adjusts to all body sizes.
