Armed for extraction
April 1st 2006

A new generation of BenchTop extraction arms has been introduced by Nederman. They are designed as an easy-to-use solution that eliminates smoke, gases, dust and particles when working with glues, solders, solvents, detergents and chemicals.

The arms can be supplied as complete kits with fans and filters. The company can also build systems to suit a company's specific needs.

Every joint of the BenchTop arms can rotate and swivel 360°, and the hood can be placed exactly where it is needed. Arms can be fixed to ceilings, walls, tables or floors using the universal combination bracket. The area of reach can be extended significantly by adding a longer mounting profile.

Nederman says airflow is 25% better than with other arms, so a smaller, less energy-consuming fan is needed. Noise levels too are said to be reduced.
