Construction workers are particularly at risk from respiratory problems caused by the inhalation of dust.

Everyday tasks such as drilling, slab and block cutting, chasing out and sanding of wood creates dusts that are dangerous to workers and their colleagues.

Cases of occupational asthma are increasing year on year, and the HSE is committed to reducing exposure to harmful dusts and to driving down incidents of respiratory disease.

The Nederman Filtercube is designed to reduce dangerous levels of dust generated in the construction process. It can be placed near to the process that generates the dust; a powerful fan draws the airborne dust through a two-stage filtration process, before discharging clean air through the outlet spigot.

A filter condition indicator is fitted, and a built-in timer can be set to allow the unit to provide recirculatory cleaning in an unoccupied room.
