Deals with wood dust
June 1st 2005

For the Rycotewood Furniture Centre, moving to new workshops and design studios in Oxford meant the installation of new dust extraction equipment.

Four Polytex units from Carter-Thorne were installed to handle hardwood dust from multiple workstations. Two large Polytex L44 units were installed externally with two smaller Polytex K95s sited internally to handle the range of dust extraction requirements. Carter Thorne also designed and installed the necessary ducting.

Polytex units of various sizes and extraction capacities may be sited inside and outside, even in restricted areas. The addition of a top-mounted HEPA operating with efficiency of 99.997% allows cleaned air to be vented back to the work area.
