Dust control equipment to hire
August 1st 2007

A-Plant has added new tools, dust extraction and suppression products and other equipment to the company's hire fleet to help construction companies meet the new Workplace Exposure Limits.

The company has also introduced an enhanced version of its Site Safety Pack which features a new Dust Supplement that focuses on the substantiallyreduced WELs for RCS exposure.

Local Exhaust Ventilation, a method of capturing dust at source with specialist dust extraction vacuums, is recognised by the HSE as a practicable method of reducing the creation of airborne dust and Respirable Crystalline Silica, thereby helping construction companies to meet their legal obligations.

A-Plant has added dust extraction and suppression equipment from Swedish firm Dustcontrol to its hire range to help companies meet the reduced WELs.
