On tool extraction February 1st 2004 To improve the health and work efficiency of construction workers, Dustcontrol UK has introduced an upgraded version of its cyclone-based DC 2700c industrial vacuum cleaner that is designed to reduce the hazard of airborne dust in the workplace.
A new chassis has been added and there is a separate, highly efficient hepa micro-filter to the main filter.
The new machine extracts dust at source in tough environments through on-tool extraction from, for example, a wall chaser or floor grinding tool, or it can be used for quick and easy on-site cleaning.
Filter cleaning is achieved with reverse pulse, so work can continue without having to remove filters to be cleaned on site. Extracted material is collected in a plastic sack (a steel container can also be specified) at the base of the cyclone where it can be handled easily and disposed of without release of dust.
