Removes steel dusts
February 1st 2008

International security equipment group, Gunnebo, has installed a Carter- Thorne stainless steel Nonflam wet dust extraction unit in its Uckfield facility.

It removes mild and stainless steel dusts from 14 work-stations in Gunnebo's polishing and grinding shop.

Ancillary ducting was also supplied.

Many of Carter-Thorne's customers specify stainless steel extraction units to cope with conditions of high water acidity and the attendant risk of corrosion.

Nonflams are also available

in mild steel with an epoxy semi-gloss finish, or in GRP.

Units are offered with a range of fans rated for individual applications – to 22kW.
