Wet dust collectors
August 1st 2006

Doncasters Medical Technologies has installed three dust extraction units from Carter-Thorne for its forging and finishing operations in Sheffield.

The Nonflam W220 wet extractors are used to remove titanium, cobalt chrome and stainless steel dusts created in grinding and polishing operations on a range of precision orthopaedic products.

The simple, robust units can be used with flammable, explosive or wet and sticky dusts.

Carter-Thorne can supply all ducting, an installation service, and can advise on CoSHH requirements.
