Captures dust/fume
April 1st 2005

An articulated extraction arm has been introduced by Nederman for the removal of harmful or hazardous dust and fumes.

Compact and designed to be wall-mounted, the arm is suitable for most light to medium-duty extraction-at source applications.

Available in 2 and 3m lengths, the arm has articulated joints to allow the high efficiency flanged capture hood to be moved easily to the optimum position to extract dust and fumes without hindering the operator.

The hood has an integrated guard net and the 160mm diameter hose is foil-lined to resist sparks, such as those that might be encountered in welding or grinding operations.

The hose can be connected directly to a duct or a single fan. A butterfly valve can be supplied to control airflow between 1000m3/h and zero.
