Getting 'tuff'on workplace health monitoring
May 1st 2009

Workplace health monitoring is Casella CEL's core focus at this year's Safety & Health Expo and they will be launching a new software package that allows busy health and safety personnel to manage their data and meet record keeping obligations under COSHH.

Of particular interest will be the ability to compare noise, dust and other data over the same time frame, which will provide insight into related problem areas of process and exposure.

At launch the software will support Casella's feature products; the TUFF personal air sampling pump, the CEL-350 dBadge Noise Dosimeter and CEL-600 Series of colour screen, octave-band sound level meters. It will be developed to download the whole range of Casella's established products for noise, dust, VOC, gas and indoor air quality through future 'plug ins'.

The TUFF is itself a newly launched companion to the popular APEX series of personal air sampling pumps, offering a new low entry level price with the possibility to add new features through firmware upgrades.

The CEL-600 Series launched at last years' event also gets new features through the addition of 1/3rd Octave Band Analysis and socalled Ln statistical parameters that will allow simple assessment of an organisation's environmental noise impact. Stand P84
