Reverse jet filter
February 1st 2006

Dust extraction equipment from Carter Environmental Engineers (CEE) is used in a flue gas desulphurisation project at a coal-fired power station in Lincolnshire.

CEE supplied a Carter- Midac reverse jet filter to handle dust created at hoppers where rail wagons discharge limestone. It incorporates a bottommounted rotary valve that allows the dust collected to be recycled into the system.

The reverse jet filters are available with a range of filter types and with filtration areas ranging from 6 to 1400m2. All units use pressure-controlled cleaning.
