ATEX APPROVAL FOR SINGLE GAS MONITOR
October 1st 2004

A new industry benchmark is claimed by BW Technologies for its rugged, weatherproof, single gas monitor.

ATEX-approved, GasAlert Extreme provides protection from H2S, SO2, Cl2, CO, HCN, NO2, O2, NH3 or PH3.

The compact instrument, with an IP66/67 rating, features: high-output audible, visual and vibrator alarms; low, high TWA and STEL alarm settings; large alphanumeric LCD with realtime display; autobacklight; run silent mode; and built-in, concussionproof boot.

Field-selectable user options enable GasAlert Extreme to be customised to almost any environment.

Calibration due dates and alarm settings can be configured to meet specific industry requirements, and a pass-code protect function ensures tamperproof operation.

Optional data logging, event logging and multiple language options enhance the instrument’s flexibility.
