Gas Specialist Assists Gas Industry Trainees
February 1st 2010 Gas safety specialist S&S Northern
has helped Specialist Gas
Assessment Services SGAS), a
training and assessment centre
based on the outskirts of Blackpool,
improve the training given to gas
installers, by installing gas proving
systems in their training facilities.
S&S Northern supplied and
installed a Merlin 2000GD gas
proving system and valves to allow
trainees to see how interlock
systems work in a kitchen, two GSP
panels for industrial boiler houses
which allows trainees to see how
gas detectors can help monitor and
control gas and oil supplies and a
Mini Merlin, a small domestic
panel for CO2 and natural gas
