Offering a full support service to customers, Casella CEL is now a 'Level 2' authorised Service Centre as well as an official distributor of RAE Systems gas detection monitors and photoionisation detectors (PIDs).

All Level 2 Service Centres must have: Staff who have attended and completed training at levels 1 and 2 at RAE Systems Europe's local office Calibrated equipment for repairs, service and calibration On site trained personnel Re-certificated training every two years.

Service records retained for a period of 10 years A minimum stock of spare parts for fast turnaround RAE's products include a full range of portable gas detectors for personal monitoring of toxic and flammable gas hazards, such as the popular and robust ToxiRAE single gas personal detector; the EntryRAE personal gas monitor for hazardous confined space entry; a 4-gas detector that includes a PID to monitor volatile organic compounds (VOCs); and a range of bespoke PIDs, including the MiniRAE, an advanced handheld realtime VOC detector.

Casella CEL's Market Manager Tim Turney commented: "We are delighted to have fulfiled the extremely stringent requirements of an RAE Systems Level 2 Service Centre, so that we can now add this facility to our already wideranging service offering and our extensive portfolio of innovative workplace noise, dust and vapour monitoring equipment."
