Low cost CO2 monitoring
April 1st 2008

Available from Kane International, the Kane- Alert-CO2 offers a low cost method of assessing carbon dioxide (CO2) levels and ventilation rates in offices, public buildings and many other locations where indoor air quality is important.

A long-life, non-dispersive IR sensor measures CO2 up to 3000ppm. It measures temperature across the range 0 to 50°C. Max/min mode and alarm mode are included and the unit can log up to 48 readings at 30min intervals.

It will calculate and display ventilation rates, has a battery life that is typically 80h from 4 x AA batteries, has a mains adapter, and is fitted with a tilt stand for ease of use.
