Measuring hazardous gases
August 1st 2011

The Gaztox, from Geotech, is a new portable detector for toxic or flammable gases.

It is ATEX Zone 0 certified and is for use in potentially explosive atmospheres in hazardous environments. Depending on the sensor selected and fitted, this single gas detector measures hazardous concentrations of oxygen, or toxic gases such as hydrogen sulphide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, chlorine, ammonia, ozone or phosphates.

With visual and audio alarms, the Gaztox is said to be an essential tool for on-site safety.
