Multi-Gas Detector
December 1st 2005

Honeywell Zellweger Analytics has extended its MicroMAX multi-gas detector range with the introduction of the Lumidor MicroMAX PID. The instrument has flexible sensor options to use Photo Ionization Detector (PID) sensors and infrared cells.

MicroMAX PID can be configured to measure numerous gases, including flammable gases in inert atmospheres, such as fuel storage tanks under nitrogen blankets, as well as VOCs that include numerous solvents, acids and other chemicals.

The configurable sensor array also detects oxygen deficiency, CO2, NH3, Cl2, SO2, PH3, and NO2.

Field serviceable, the gas detector has a robust, impact-resistant metal case, long-lifetime powerful pump and rechargeable NiMH batteries for longer field operations.

Other features include automated confirmation of key events and faults via the Voice Assist speaker system and the ability to upload new and customised VOC methods and download stored data.
