Two-way radio communication April 1st 2008 Deaf Alerter's Refuge alerter
RA 1000 is a two-way radio
communication system that
has been developed to offer
customers an alternative to
restrictive and costly hardwire
solutions.
Use of radio-based
technology in buildings
eliminates the need to run
new cabling which can be
disruptive and impractical in
many buildings. Handheld
radios can be used by the
evacuation team, enabling
communication to continue
even if the base station
location becomes
compromised by smoke.
Such solutions are also said
to be suitable for multicampus
installations.
Joanne Kusinski,
marketing manager, says
"Refuge Alerter has taken off
in a big way. The feedback
we have received from
customers is very positive.
"Our research and
development team is
committed to developing life
saving products that will not
only benefit the installers
and building managers, but
the system users." More articles from Deaf Alerter Plc: |
