Priced at less than £1000, the PhoCheck is a full size surveying PID monitor that measures up to 4000 ppm solvents and VOCs.

Available through Shawcity, it has a large, clear display with icons and a simple scrolling menu similar to that of a mobile phone. Large keypads make it easy to programme.

Suitable for land clean-up, spills, leak detection, survey work and emissions, the PhoCheck has a detachable 10cm probe. Special humidity compensation and an on-board menu of 250 of the most common compounds ensure reliable operation.

An intrinsically safe, ATEXapproved version measures from ppb to 10 000 ppm VOCs.
