MONITORING TIME REDUCED BY 50%
December 1st 2004

A new and improved Benzene monitoring chip has been added to the Draeger Chip Measurement System (CMS).

Coinciding with the recent reduction in maximum exposure levels of Benzene to 1ppm time weighted average, the launch of the new chip means sampling times can be reduced by up to 50%.

It is also able to check for concentration levels of 1ppm in just 80sec and allows accurate spot measurements to be taken with minimal user training. Tests at the lowest measurement level (0.2ppm) can be completed in 5min and 0ppm in 225sec.

The Draeger portable gas and vapour monitoring is quick and easy to use. When plugged-in to the CMS analyser, that measures and evaluates the concentration, chips provide an immediate, true digital readout without the need for further evaluation.
