Available from BW Technologies, the GasAlertMicro 5 PID provides simultaneous monitoring of up to five gases, including oxygen, combustibles, a range of toxic gases and volatile organic compounds.

Its lightweight, compact and water-resistant design makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, including hazmat response, confined space entry, search and rescue and post-inspection fire safety.

Features include: high output audible, visual and vibrator alarms; low, high, TWA and STEL alarm settings; large alphanumeric LCD; two LEL measuring units (0 to 100% lel and 0 to 5% by volume methane); and built-in concussion-proof boot. There are optional data-logging capabilities and an optional integral motorised pump.

Field-selectable options allow the unit to be customised.
