Comfort and protection
December 1st 2008

Kimberly-Clark Professional has introduced a new design of particulate respirator which offers a high degree of comfort and comes with new Comfort Strap and Dual Valves.

The company says that employees are happy to wear the respirators for longer periods, reducing downtime and increasing safety and PPE compliance. They offer effective protection against fine particles and are designed to work with Kleenguard eyewear.

"The unique new Comfort Strap used in Kimberly-Clark Professional's new Kleenguard particulate respirators is wider than traditional headbands and made from a softer than usual material," explains Brian Davis, category manager safety business.

Comfort is further enhanced with the fitting of Dual Valves to the new respirators. These maximise the flow of warm and humid air away from the face and so minimise fogging on eyewear.
