Half masks on show
April 1st 2007

Scott Health and Safety will be launching its new single and twin filter half masks – Profile40 and Profile60 at Safety & Health Expo. It will also be displaying powered air respiratory systems, breathing apparatus and Protector branded safety helmets.

Profile40 and Profile60 have been designed to provide high levels of comfort and safety. The clear facepiece is moulded in flexible and durable Liquid Silicone Rubber which is shaped to provide a wide, flat faceseal to easily achieve and maintain an efficient, comfortable seal without pressure.

Ribs inside the nose bridge seal without gripping to ensure no outward leakage towards the eyes, making the masks suitable for use with spectacles, goggles and with most other types of PPE.

Head movements are absorbed by bellows section at the nose and chin, preventing slippage or leaks at the seal, and the fast-don harness keeps the mask comfortable and secure.

The Profile40 has a standard 40mm EN148-1 thread connection and uses an extensive selection of lightweight Pro2000 canister filters to give cost efficient protection. The Profile 60 uses Pro2 range of cartridge filters that are designed to provide good balance and to maximise duration.
