HELPS TO PROTECT AGAINST ASBESTOS
August 1st 2004

Proflow SC Asbestos is a new addition to Scott Health and Safetys Proflow powered respirator range.

Specifically designed for the asbestos removal industry, it provides a three-year or 1800h use warranty. Features such as data logging, electronic flow control, in-use status monitoring and filter and battery alarms are incorporated into a rugged blower designed to meet the aggressive demands of asbestos removal.

The device requires no user calibration or servicing, reducing on-site maintenance costs and downtime during contracts. On-board electronics allow a Scott-approved service centre to run a full diagnostic check at the six-monthly service.

The respirator maintains a minimum flow of 160l/min through two P3 filters. Approved to EN12942, it has a choice of two TM3 full facemasks and a TM2 half mask in a range of sizes and materials.
