Personal airline
June 1st 2004

The new Draeger Personal Airline System (PAS) AirPack 1 and 2 heavy duty airline apparatus is said to be suitable for any task requiring extended duration breathing air.

Easy to manoeuvre, the trolley-mounted cylinders can be used in conjunction with up to 100m of hose and a lightweight harness, such as Draegers PAS Colt, to combine safety with comfort and ease of use.

Able to accommodate up to four compressed air cylinders of up to 12l capacity, and one or two cylinders of up to 50l respectively, the PAS AirPack 1 and 2 are made from an anti-static powder coated steel material.

Included are a safety pressure relief valve and a pressure reducer shrouded in a protective plate. In addition to a rear wheel foot brake, AirPack 2 can be supplied with a lifting eye, enabling safe transfer when elevated working areas may be unavoidable.
