POWERED ASSISTED RESPIRATORY UNIT
April 1st 2005

Willson, part of Bacou- Dalloz, has launched a new range of power-assisted respiratory protective equipment.

The Zephyr range can be used in many different environments to protect the respiratory tract against dust or gas/vapour inhalation. There is also a specialist Zephyr ATEX PAPR system for protection in extremely hazardous and potentially explosive atmospheres.

The range comprises motor unit with battery and hose, and charger.

Units are compatible with hoods, full face masks, half masks and a range of dust and gas/vapour filters.

The lightweight (820g) motor unit with battery provides a dual visual and audible alarm for low flow or low battery power for the models with hoods.

A recharge is completed in just five hours and then provides eight hours of continuous use.
