Fit2Fit success
May 1st 2010 Since its launch in January, the Fit2Fit Accreditation scheme, for fit-testers of respiratory protective PPE, has been inundated with enquiries which validates the need for such a scheme. To date, almost 200 fit-testers have either qualified or are in the process of being assessed.
Whether fit-testers are employed within industrial organisations or are specialist service providers, their acquision of accredited status will add confidence that respiratory protection will be much improved over the coming years. "A considerable number of respiratory diseases are caused because the protection being offered is not worn correctly or understood.
