Networking Day – book now
August 1st 2008

David Lummis of BSIF Enterprises the event organiser commented that a significant number of bookings have now been received and that venue limitations might create the need to establish a "waiting list".

Summarising the programme as "The best Networking in the safety industry's calendar," he went on to say: “Following last years event, the Networking Day and Gala Dinner will continue with the theme of a more relaxed atmosphere and greater networking opportunities.

As usual it is a day for the whole industry to get together, enjoy themselves and talk with old friends and new colleagues. As always, central to our networking events are the Gala Dinner, the competitive ‘leisure’ pursuits and, new last year, an informal pre-dinner wine tasting" (kindly sponsored by Greenham and Flint Insurance).

"Following the Gala Dinner, our entertainer is Phil Perry, the highly accomplished Magician who entertained us with close up magic last year. His cabaret act is something to behold. We must also thank Arco for kindly sponsoring the Dinner wines and CMPi for sponsoring the dinner itself."

Once again the Aearo Golf Tournament will be staged on the Forest of Arden’s challenging courses and this year we have many more places booked on the championship Arden course.

For the Karting enthusiast, we shall be providing a Grand Prix track to challenge the drivers taking part in the Health & Safety Matters Grand Prix. This year the Uvex outdoor pursuits challenge includes new challenges and old favourites. Blind Driving for the adventurous souls, Clay Pigeon shooting, Gun Dog Trials and Longbow archery."

The 2008 BSIF Networking Day is to be held at the popular Forest of Arden hotel on Monday 13th October and any readers wishing to book should contact the BSIF Offices.
