Prevent workrelated dermatitis - next steps
May 1st 2009

The success of the joint HSE - BSIF “It's in your hands” campaign and the broad engagement with major industry stakeholders [such as the BOHS and SGUK] has ensured that this initiative has been the most significant and effective of its type in recent years. Phase II, which will seek to cascade the awareness message to shop-floor and small business workers, will be launched at the S&H Expo.

Learning from Phase I indicates that both messages and products need to transist a deep supply-chain to reach the appropriate people and this will be encouraged by pack-messaging coupled with more accessible and navigable web access. "The aim is to reduce the incidence of workrelated dermatitis by over 10% by the end of 2010" said a campaign spokesman "and we are now on-track to achieve this objective.”
