Respiratory protection initiative
December 1st 2007 Following the wide acclaim for the ‘It's in your hands’ campaign, mounted through a joint HSE - BSIF venture, and its initial successes in reducing industrially related dermatitis, the HSE and the BSIF are to combine to generate another awareness campaign.
This time it will be targeted at improving the deployment and use of suitable respiratory protection to significantly reduce the incidence of injury caused by volatile chemicals, carcinogens and toxic dusts.
It is anticipated that the campaign will be trialed early next spring and launched at the Safety and Health Expo in May. More articles from British Safety Industry Federation: |
