The BSIF Guide 2010
August 15th 2009

Conscious that the BSIF Guide is regularly used as a reference source for the accessing of safety equipment, the BSIF is developing its "Guide to the British Safety Industry" to ensure that it will have sufficient appeal to remain on the shelf for its twelve month's currency. The 2010 issue will include simple and straightforward guidance on how to access safety products and services, easy references to standards and information about how to identify unsafe illegal and counterfeit equipment in addition to carrying a supplier listing set out in a similar format to that used by yellow pages.

The BSIF is keen to continue to include learned articles but will now focus these to provide helpful information for employers, such as health and safety risk assessments, and seek to debunk some of mystique surrounding the selection and deployment of PPE and other safety equipment.

The BSIF welcomes suggestions and comments from readers regarding what they would like to be included within the Guide for next year - via the Editor please.
