The Safety & Health Expo is now the largest annual event of its type in Europe and, having played a pivotal role in the creation of this exhibition, the BSIF is delighted to continue its involvement as the main sponsor of this event. The 2008 exhibition will provide unparalleled opportunities for networking between exhibitors, manufacturers of products, providers of services and safety professionals exhibiting and/or visiting this UK showcase for the safety industry.

For BSIF Members, Stand K 100 in Hall 10 will provide a hospitality “club” lounge and Business Centre for them to relax for a few minutes, talk to friends and colleagues and meet with clients without the need to leave the exhibition floor.In addition, the BSIF will be pleased to welcome visitors on Stand K 100 where they will be able to talk directly to the Lead Association for the PPE Directive in the UK and an HSE designated “competent” authority.

The BSIF seeks to provide information on occupational health and safety regulations, an opportunity to view the winning entries of the 2008 BSIF Product Innovation Awards and talk to Flint Insurance about the BSIF’s bespoke safety industry insurance scheme, SafeSure. Also featured on the BSIF Stand will be the “It’s in your hands” campaign, mounted in conjunction with the HSE and Safety Groups UK to seriously reduce the incidence of work-related dermatitis and details of the current BSIF campaign to eliminate counterfeit PPE.

The BSIF will also host the Expo’s Help-Desk. This is designed to assist visitors gain maximum benefit from the exhibition and advise them where they can locate exhibiting safety equipment manufacturers, trainers, test houses and service providers at the Expo.
