New guidance on asbestos removal
December 1st 2007

ARCA, Asbestos Removal Contractors Association, committed to promoting best practice in terms of safe working procedures, has published a new 'Guidance note for Asbestos Removal in Confined Spaces'.

When meeting the revised asbestos regulations issued by the HSE, the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, work in confined spaces may introduce additional problems. The guidance note has been provided to give guidance to both clients and contractors on the procedures of working safely in confined spaces and to provide adequate practical guidance for those undertaking asbestos removal.

A copy of the guidance note can be downloaded at: www.arca.org.uk
