A-Safe secrets revealed
October 1st 2010

With its wide product range suitable for any application in warehouse, manufacturing and logistics industries, A-Safe has boosted its claims of the superiority of plastic versus steel in safety barrier systems by revealing some of the secrets in creating its plastic patented and patented pending systems.

Over 25 years the company has developed a blend of highperformance polymers that, once it has undergone the extrusion process, delivers a strength that can withstand an impact of 304KN (the equivalent of a 3.5t vehicle travelling at 10mph with a direct head on impact into the barrier). Added to this special mix is a UV additive for outdoor use.

This mixture can then be made into a series of different barrier systems to fit any application where safety is a premium. The A-Safe modular system can be fitted in any situation, providing solutions onsite to any safety issue. Stand 46
