Barrier business booms

Alan Bentley, inventor of the Skipper retractable barrier, reports soaring sales for the product which was commended in the Industrial Product of the Year 2005 Awards.

The device is a portable hazard warning and protection system, that converts any standard traffic cone into an efficient, highly visible barrier system.

With up to 9m of tape on one unit, and a road light attachment, it is simple to operate and can be used over and over again.

Cost effective, the unit conforms to BS3143 Part 2 1990.

The fully recharging unit also has solar cell light activation and permanent or flashing light modes.
