SafetyNET (Secure Adhoc Fire & Emergency NETwork) is a communication system that is being developed by Loughborough University.

It involves the use of wireless technology to give firefighters accurate information about the buildings they are called to, including details on whether people are trapped inside and whether it is safe for them to enter.
