Edge protection
June 1st 2006

In the construction of concrete decks and floor slabs on multi-floor and high rise properties, a key aspect of the health and safety considerations will be to provide protection to personnel walking or working near the edges of the decks and floor slabs.

To ensure that operatives are working within a safe environment, A-Plant Acrow offers a new edge protection system to complement its hire fleet of formwork and falsework products.

Available in a range of sizes and with K-Lock active safety feature, the system is suitable for a wide range of applications including live deck edge protection, slab edge protection, debris guard barriers, and structural steelwork protection. It can also be used to provide safe site walkways.

Features include profiled edges for extra strength, integrated toeboards, and dimple 'line-up and lock' connection points for quick and easy installation.
