Fast fix flooring

While it is impossible to eliminate the need to work at height in the building industry, the Caberdek P5 flooring system from Norbord, when correctly installed, is said to help reduce the risk of falls.

The product is weatherproof and designed to be laid as building work progresses; hence it provides a secure and permanent working platform for all following trades in the construction process.

A protective film prevents dirt and moisture penetrating the Caberdek surface and, when the roof is installed and all wet trades completed, the film is simply peeled off to reveal a pristine surface ready to receive the floorcovering.

This film also has a safety function. Its non-slip surface means that, even when wet, it provides a secure and safe surface on which to work. Together with Fastfix adhesive and a special jointing tape, it is a complete flooring system which can help speed construction time and enhance safety.

The Fastfix system reduces the number of nails required for boards laid across 600mm centres from 17 to just three.
