Free safety surveys

Certex UK is offering a free safety survey to any company in the UK that has employees working at height. The service follows the introduction of last year's Work at Height Regulations and is designed to help companies comply with the new rules.

The company is offering the surveys in conjunction with Checkmate UK. A Certex engineer will visit a site, check that legislation is being adhered to, identify any shortcomings, and advise on equipment and practices.

Charles Gillespie, Certex UK director, comments "We have found that many employers are unsure as to how the new legislation affects them and, more importantly, what action if any they need to take. To give them peace of mind, we will arrange for trained personnel to visit their workplace and offer free advice, with no conditions or obligations attached."
