Net edge protection
February 1st 2007

Combisafe Safety Net Fans are in use at Bowmer and Kirkland's Northbank development in Sheffield Sub-contractor IBN Scaffold Access of Barnsley has made the decision not to use scaffolding fans on any future inner-city development, but to use instead Combisafe Safety Net Fans.

Nigel Brown, director of IBN, comments "We have been considering specifying Combisafe for some time instead of traditional scaffolding fans. Specifically on city centre jobs, the Safety Net Fan has a larger overhang, offers greater protection and simply looks better.

"The bigger picture is that we want to progress the quality of our offerings and embracing different forms of edge protection and integrating them into our systems means we can provide a better service for our client.

Oliver Gwinnell, Combisafe's northern area manager, adds "Combisafe Safety Net Fans are now common-place across city centre sites. They offer protection to site personnel and the public passing by in their cars and walking."
