New DVD on Working at Height:
June 1st 2006

Accident statistics reveal that falls from height are the biggest cause of workplace deaths and one of the biggest causes of major injuries every year.

Fatalities and accidents occur because working at heights is not being properly controlled and the correct training is not given.

Safety Media has launched a new DVD Working at Heights - The Facts to help companies educate their employees on the importance of working safely at height.

The 35min DVD covers: the need to follow safe systems at work, the need to comply with training, how accidents can happen, how to stay safe while working at height, and how to plan and organise a working at heights task.

Up-to-date with the Working at Height Regulations 2005, the DVD is part of the company's multi-lingual range and comes in 20 subtitled languages.
