LOW VIBRATION FOR BREAKER HAMMER
June 1st 2005

Available from Speedy Hire, the Hilti TE 706 AVR is a low vibration breaker hammer that packs plenty of power yet weighs just 7kg.

A new generation 1200W (switch reluctance) motor gives a vibration level that the company believes to be unrivalled. It produces just 5m2/sec. This is said to be an almost two-thirds lower vibration level than is produced by equivalent tools.

The SR motor is described as a genuine advancement from traditional breaker motors, with no carbon brushes, rotator or commutator to wear away.

The motor casing is designed to keep particles out, reducing servicing intervals, furthering the breaker’s life and helping to keep costs down.
