Reduces vibrations by 40%
June 25th 2009

The new 5-kilo Demolition Hammer GSH 5 CE Professional from Bosch is said to be the first demolition hammer of its size with vibration damping at the pneumatic hammer mechanism and main handle.

This new tool enables the user to work for longer while still meeting the daily vibration load permitted by EU directive 2002/44/EC.

The Hammer's 13-joule single impact energy and 1150-watt motor help work progress quicker. The new hammer mechanism with enlarged air cushion reduces vibrations where they originate, without reducing the power of the demolition hammer.

The main handle is decoupled from the demolition hammer at the upper end by means of a spring. Moreover, damping elements at the upper guide elements and at the bearing shaft ensure that the vibrations reduced in the first stage are absorbed even further.
